how much to get tires mountd and balanced?

How much do you guys pay for a mount and balance?
$57 seems a bit high to me!????

I paid at costco 9 dollars a tire, which was 36 for all four, they did a great job balencing.

Yeah, $57 is a bit high. I wouldn't expect to pay more then $35 or $40. I'm spoiled, though, I get it done for $10 bucks for however many I need

I pay $16 a wheel up here in canada...and that is canadian.

cost of mount/balnce all depends on where you live and what stores you go to. Discount Tire usually charges 10 a tire. ive had it done as low as 7.50 a tire, and as high as 15 a tire.

Most tire places would like for you to buy from them, so they may not be so willing to install competitor tires at a "bargain" price. Sure sometimes mail order is cheaper, but now you need someone to mount/balance, rotate,rebalance,or repair your tires later on. Your local tire stores may be able to some close to Tire Rack's price, just ask.

I posted this somewhere else, Discount tires will match tireracks price, and mount them for free or real cheap if you order your tires from them.
