Yeah, Pyramid isn't even in the same class as Radio Shack's Optimus line. Or is that Optima? Whatever.
Hey Rio, I know you've posted your love of Lanzar before. I used to love Lanzar. When they first came out. I had the Opti Q 200.2 and 200.4. They were clean, hit hard and had no noise. Their speakers were excellent, too. They had soft dome silk tweets and the subs were competition winning as well. I was curious, though. They were losing money and were bought out by..............................PYRAMID!!!
It's true! When I had one of my amps not turn back on after shutting down one hot, August night, I had to send it in for repair. It went to Pyramid in NY. I was confirmed of my fears by my installer, who was the authorized Lanzar dealer in my area. He told me of their money problems, how they had to drop their dealers and were bought out by Pyramid.
It just shows you how good they were, because your stuff can't hold a candle to my old stuff(which theives couldn't resist, either!). If you like the Pyramid backed products now, I wish you could have heard my system back then. It was awesome.
