I am learning new things too so I appreciate the questions. There is a lot of knowledge on this forum but without asking questions there is no way to get the knowledge out to others. Bryan

I don't think I even run two steps colder.

Have you questioned the fuel system yet? With it running so rich at WOT, heat and knock is hardly your problem.

I mean what in the fuel system can go bad? Its a new 155lph walbro, only thing i could think of is is that the FPR is bad but i dont see why that would happen. The plugs are white. And look too hot. Which makes sense. When the motor is cold i get no knock, car runs fine. Once the motor warms up, the higher temps and cylinder pressure turns the plug into a glow plug.

Low load won't get the plugs so hot they'll give issues. Heat happens at WOT. You've stated that you're running in the 10's for AFR. That won't give you heat.

What AFR are you running at partial throttle? Cruise? Idle?

The FPR may be worth checking. You're just throwing parts at it now. Wait until you can data log before doing anything else. Obviously something is effected by temperature and the plugs are not causing your car to turn rich when it warms up.

At idle cruise its around 14.2-15.4. It bounces. Im not saying the pinging is related to the richness. Cause i think they are 2 different problems. Worst case scenerio i wasted 15$ on a set of plugs. I think its worth a try. Ill post pics of the plugs. I might swap in another FPR to see what happens.

The plugs are NOT causing the car to richen up. The problem does not sit with the plugs, they merely tell the tale. Where is your IAT sensor?

Post pics of the plugs.

Old plugs: Autolite Coppers. Normal heat range.

All plugs looked like this.

This plug was from the back middle cylinder and shows the most sign of detonation.
Note the porcelain chucks missing.

I put new plugs in, ran them for 15 miles and pulled them. These are NGK's platinum's.

This was on the back middle cylinder. The black spec is melted porcelain signs of detonation.

IAT sensor kinda just sits in the engine bay. I have a cone filter.
