Hood question

I feel stupid asking this question because i could of sworn its been covered but i cant seem to find it when I search, but anyway I banged up my hood and iam searching junk yards for a new one, will a 93 non-sho fit my 93 sho, are they the same ?

They are not the same, the slo hood has some ridges that run front to back, the sho hood does not. iirc, the Sable hood will fit and is the same as the sho hood on top, but some of the underside bracing is somewhat different. Also, as I recall, most or all of the colors are different.

I know people who have SLO hoods on SHO's so they will fit. Although some people complain of havign DIS clearance problems, and had to cut a little piece off the SLO hood to make it work.

i have a SLO hood on both the 95 and the 92.........no problems with eather.......look 1,000,000 times better than the stocker to.......insolator fits perfict to

i had a sable hood on the 92 for a little while and they do fit fine but the insolator wont fit rite (some of the mountin places r off

Maybe 10 times better.

But, I think the cowl hoods look 1,000,000 times better then the SLO hoods!!

agreed but hey a SLO is easier to get and cheaper..........atleast till i get the new clutch done and set back extra for a CF cowl
