Hood pins/hood locks....

I've been running my CF cowl without pins for a few weeks which is not safe obviously. I stopped by Pep Boys to get some and spotted hood locks. I like the look of the locks better because they are smaller and plus they lock Will these hold down my hood just like regular pins or are they more for security purposes? Hmmm.... I may have to look into those as well. I think they would be fine for holding the hood down, as long as there is somthing pushing up on the hood to keep the pins in the lock.

I was kinda worried as I was passing this Hemi Charger on the highway the other night at 120.. the hood was shaking a bit.

I've been trying to find some sharp-tipped Mustang replica ones, have been unsuccessful thus far.

I have a set of brand new locking Aerocatch latches sitting here for my project. That should keep my Cincy Fiber Cowl down at extreme speeds. I need the tougher ones like this cause I deleted the OE hood release/latch assembly.
