Yep I decided to do some body work on the sho today... started working on it about a half an hour ago.. and decided to throw some paint down on it to see where i have to touch up on my sanding... Yeah it looks a bit messy still but it was only a half hour of sanding with 120 grit.... (I guess all my sand paper got thrown out by my dad.....bastard.. ill have to get some tommorow morning...)

haha, what were you doing specifically on the body? rust removal, i sanded down my rust a while ago and threw some spray paint on it, coulden't find any silver that would match and instead did red and orange flames. hehe it was on my rear fenders too.

The P.O. did a horrible job on covering up some rust.. I think all he did was glob some bondo on and bought some crome paint and covered it.. So i ended up sanding most of it off and atempted to fix it.. I do this stuff at work all day on CASE Tractor fenders and some medical equipment.. and i tell you.. It is so nice to have a decent sander... and aircompressor...l

Ohh.. as for finding paint that matches... theres a place here in waukesha that will mix up some paint that matches your car... I went and bought more than enough paint to cover my whole car with hehe

nice, ya the same here the guy before i bought my car had the fenders rolled for the big tires sanded the paint down to bare metal and left it! so it turned into rust, just surface rust i decided to sand it off so it didn't multiply over the winter. didn't have anything to cover it with but red and orange paint. eh cheap fix hopefully in the spring i'll have enough to really paint it. this was just to keep the rear quarterpanels from dissolving, after all it is the hardest part of these cars to fix.
