We all know that the V6s can last a while if maintained right. I havent heard of as many gen3s going high. Lets see what you got on yours.

Actually, a fair number of higher mileage Gen III owners post here on occasion. I do not think the question has been done recently in a poll, but it does pop up in threads now and then, so you could do some searching around to get previous results.

PS: 181,000+ on original motor, transmission, body, etc.

I say mine has 100k as a guess. The original KM/H cluster was removed when it was exported back into the U.S. from Ontario.

132K on my previous SHO before the engine went with original engine and rebuilt tranny.
145K on my current SHO body (unknown on the engine, 25K on the tranny)

im workin with 102k on the body 6k on a rebuilt trans and about 600miles on a nos short block and about 4k on the reman cam failed heads..

210+K on my previous 97 SHO.

Also remember, the V8 came out in 1996, the V6 came out in 1989, so it got a good jump on the V8

Mine has 166K & is on its original trans. Have disturbing problem in cylinder #1 so not sure how much more this motor's gonna have left.

137K on the 97, the tranny was re-placed with a Jasper at 78k (added to poll)

212k on the body of the 96, cam failed, other history unknown
