High Idle: 2.5-3k?!?

Every once in a while, the idle will jump up to about 2500 or 3000 and stay there, neutral or in gear. It's a 94 mtx, any ideas?

That's the work of an idle air control (IAC) valve run amok. You can try cleaning it, but it will most likely need replacing.
