has anyone ever thought of or heard of converting the hid from the last generation 1997-1998 lincoln mark vlll to the gen 2..how hard would it be..i've been reading up on it but the taurus headlamp lenses arent the same, would that matter..help anyone...

the housings arent a direct swap, so you'd be better off mounting other OEM or aftermarket HID projectors in a custom/modified housing. its only been done successfully once that i know of, but is one of my winter projects. check out www.hidplanet.com, and start a reading. theres also bee na few threads on here if you search for HID or healight upgrade
