So the owners manual says to see dealer for replacement I've never been one to go to the dealer but I've never had HID lights before so I'm unfamiliar with them but I doubt there available at the local parts house

Make sure the bulb is bad and not the ballast, swap bulbs side to side to verify bad bulb or ballast. If bulb is bad it won't light up on when swapped to other side, if ballast is bad, same side bulb won't light.

From previous experience with the HID, I would suggest taking the front off and slide the assembly out, or see if Tatoo from Fantasy Island is free.

There is freaking no room to "remove / install" once you get to the assembly.

Once you remove the front once it's a piece of cake, and the torx screw you have to remove not to mention the power cable sucks.

Now that I know exactly what needs to be done Inside the assembly, I'd probably still pull the front because it's a little frustrating for me working blind.

Just my opinion, good luck.
