Hello, all. Greetings from Indiana.

I purchased a 2014 SHO in April of 2019 and have enjoyed it for the most part, it has turbos, AWD and massaging seats, whats not to like..

My car has the normal mods; tune (Livernois 93 and it sucks), plugs, 3 bar, cai, 160 thermostat. I also tinted the windows, put decent tires on it and Powerstop brakes all around. Car currently has 67k miles.

Here is a picture of my SHO.

Thanks for reading my post.

Welcome,

Do yourself a favor and get the Livertrash tune out of your car.

That is part of the reason for joining the forum. When I purchased the car, they were still recommended by members on here and other forums. I had always heard decent things about them and figured they were a good, reputable company that made decent tunes and that turned out to be false.

I am currently having issues with misfires, rough idle and miss shifts into 2nd and 3rd gear on their tune.

My current plans are to get a Gearhead intercooler and either go with Gearhead or AJPTurbo for the tune (maybe hpfp and e30 tune if my new gas station sells E). It sucks knowing I wasted money with Livertrash and their custom tuner and then everyone starts having issues with them.

Also, SM105K, thanks for the ownership/performance/maintenance thread. Tons of good info there.

Yeah we have a couple of members here that have had major issues with Livertrash. If you have any questions let me or ask around here.

I am a AJPTurbo guy, however.....Gearhead is amazing too. Lee from Ortiz Performance will probably chime in as well. Do you diligence and choose what is best for you.

LOL @ "Livertrash". That might stick. Ha!

To the OP, welcome aboard the SHOsanity.

I like that red, and decent find given 67k versus the model year.

As many will attest to, and I will second, be sure to perform a full round of fluid swaps (oil, trans, ptu, rdu) and a plug change to.

Consider coolant as well, given your stated, current mileage.

A wise, small investment now, to reap larger dividends (& enjoyment) down the road.

Thanks for the welcome, I plan on changing all the fluids whenever it warms up.

bpd1151, I'm a fan of your car and look forward to your re-build.

Welcome to the forum. I'm on the northeast side of Indy. Maybe paths will cross at some point.
