I've been getting a slight hesitation (okay more a slight bucking) when the motor is at low rpms (below 2K). I've noticed that it seems to be worse with lower fuel (below 1/4 tank). Now I know that my DIS module is crack but working. Could it be the DIS or is this a possible sign that the fuel pump is thinking of leaving us ?

If it is not low fuel pressure (which would show up under higher engine speeds and loads and their greater fuel requirements), it could be a spark misfire. If you aren't seeing a CHECK ENGINE light, the likely sources are the spark plugs and plug wires. If you are seeing a CHECK ENGINE light, read the codes and let us know what you find.

No CE and just replaced the spark plugs 2 weeks ago with Motorcraft platinum plugs. I have not replaced the wires (original with 81K now). But on this mornings drive with a full tank of gas, I had no problems. Just wondering if my fuel level was less than I thought at the time. shrug
