what is the name of the bar that connects to the front strut. the bushings wore out on mine and they make a rattling noise when i drive down the street...

uh.... sway bar? or your sway bar endlinks...

Moog makes a really nice set...
and i think hyperflex has the sway bar bushings, if that the problem, which it sounds like it...
its not the TRE's (tie rod end) that your talking about, is it?

no its not the sway bar or the tie rod. its about a foot long and it sits vertically with one bolt connected to the strut and the other end connected to the a frame i think.

strut rod or tention strutrod (same part different name) one side is attached to your balljoint/controllarm and the other side is attached to your subframe... if that is it the you ment to say horizontal (side to side) rather than vertical (up and down) and if its not then I don't know what your talkign about. please explain

strut rod sounds like the right name..

but it does stand vertical connecting from the strut at the bottom of the coil, to somewhere i cant see right now without taking the wheel off.

If it's vertical it's the swaybar end link. One end connects to the strut, the other to the end of the swaybar.

i was thinking the same thing, now excuse me while i go out and watch the sun set on the vertical.

thanks it is the sway bar end link. are there any high performance ones i should get or is a stock one good enough?
