I am planning on doing a tune up on my 95 MTX soon and am wondering a few things. first is...what brand and model of spark plugs are good for this car, I was looking at some Bosch Platinum and they have the regular ones and ones with 4 prongs called Platinum 4+. Are those ok? Second is the oil, the car has been running with regular oil and I'm wondering if switching to Synthetic is ok. I've heard you can't use Synthetic in a car if it has always had regular. Last thing is, if I remove the intake manifold to get at the back plugs, does the gasket need to be replaced? Thanks for any feedback.
Jeff.

Forget the Bosche spark plugs, stick with the Motorcrafts. Order them if you have to.

Switch to synthetic if it makes you feel better - or not. You can swap anytime, the engine isn't going to puke it back out or anything just because you changed. Dyno juice works fine as long as you change it regularly and change your filter. There are a million posts about oil and filters - read a few threads about it.

If you are creative, you can replace the wires without removing the intake. The intake manifold gasket can be reused as long as the black surface is not damaged if you decide to remove it. Suggest you use the Motorcfart wires, too, unless you have a GOOD set of aftermarkets, there are some real junk ones out there.
