help with engine damper strut

Hi, I'm trying to replace my power steering pump.


Directions tell me to remove the engine damper strut. I am a bit lost as to what this is. Is there only one? Where is it located? Hard to get? It has to be removed before the car is lifted....???

A second question.... Are there diagrams available to look at for these things?

I believe there are two of them. One attached between the strut tower and the front of the engine. The second is attached to the front motor mount. I THINK they are only on MTXs.
