I decided to put ginger back in storage and bring out Chastity cause I enjoying the MTX much more than ATX right now and Ginger needs all four struts I'm pretty sure. Anyway, he's a little vid of Ginger going to storage and Chastity coming from...Took a bit to get her started, I suspect there was no fuel in the line, but about half way the 20 miles home I got a CE light. The codes came up as 556 and then stored codes came up 176 and 543 I believe. Anyway, can someone decode those for me when you have a minute? thx

video no worky

556 = fuel pump primary circuit failure (suggests a wiring issue to the fuel pump)
176 = lean on left (front) bank (this is what triggered the cel, generally the oxy sensor)
543 = fuel pump secondary circuit failure (this is triggered when the engine stalls and can be ignored almost always)

Hey Fred,
Thank you very much!.
When I first turned the key, I had a pang of fear cause there was no fuel pump noise, then the second and third time and overtime ...about 6 or 7...since I got it running, I can hear the fuel pump just fine and although it seems to spin a little longer than I like...it does fire up and start, maybe the fuel pump is not long for this world and so there isn't good pressure?? Does that make any sense... It'll crank for a bout 2-3 seconds before it fires, It acts like maybe there a leak down in an..or more than one injector...kinda like its a little flooded, when you first start it up...We'll work with it otherwise it is quite good...I'll clear the codes and see if it comes up again..Maybe I should get under there and see if mice nibbled on my wiring...but no, that's inside the car..we'll see.
Thanks again,
T

from your descriptions, I would say more likely a connection that is getting bad and it did not flow current to the pump the first time you turned on the key. that would set the code. I would reset codes and see if it comes back. I would fix the oxy sensor sooner than later.
