ive got a '91 SHO, i recently tried to start it and got nothing. all i get is a click. im not sure what the problem is. anyone got any ideas?

You hear the click, which means everything's connected. That's the sound of trying to start on an almost completely dead battery.

Charge and repeat, get back to us if anything else seems to be a problem.

I'm going with the battery being dead, try to jump it. If that doesnt work then get underneath her and have someone crank it while you tap on the starter, the bendix may be in a bind and the stater cant turn... If the tapping works... time for a new starter. good luck.

well, tried to jump it and it still wouldnt start...(my friend said thats what i get for buying a ford... this is not just my first SHO, but also my first car. shes a little rusty and has her problems, but i love her anyways) well, ill look into the starter next...thanx for the help guys.:biggrin:

I would say bad starter. Does it still have the factory battery clamps that clamp onto the battery, if not they may need to be cleaned and the powercables reclamped to the clamp........clamp

By the way, SmoknHondaOwnrs, isnt that wing from Gen II ? It appears to be and how well does it fit, shape wise? Because it sure look good!:thumb:

ya know....i was kinda thinkin it was from a gen II. I got the car with it on there. It fits like its supposed to be on there, and whoever did it hooked the third brake light up too.
