So I was an idiot, and tried to pull off the stock catted down pipe that's right next to my 2014's PTU so that i could reach my had in there better, its a pretty tight spot. Long story short, I stripped out one of the studs on the turbo that hold the down pipe in place, the nut had become fused to the stud so they both cranked loose. I haven't had any luck finding the correct stud online, so I might just end up visiting my local ford dealer to see if they have it in stock. Any chance you gentlemen have an idea of where I can acquire such hardware?
Side note: PTU fluid change finally done, along with oil and oil filter, at 48k miles. Couldn't suck much old stuff out, it was really dried out, and smelled really chemically and burned. Also, I didn't see an obvious drain plug, so I just sucked it out from the side plug (a quarter inch square headed bolt), and then pumped the Redline 75w-140 in until it dripped out, which was approx. 18 oz, which is the factory specified capacity. I plan to do this again at my next oil change, hopefully this allows the new fluid to flush out and dilute the old, dried out ****.
