Assuming you checked all your connections for loose and corroded wires?

X2 on what Vnuk said. Try sticking a screwdriver or somthing across the Starter Slolidnoid. If you don't have any tools, try using the lug nut wrench.

exatcly what happened to me when i replaced the starter solenoid/relay

i tried starting it and it clicked by the air box (which is where my relay is at) i gave it a good jump and it started up after about 5 minutes

also check the solenoid again to make sure you didnt break any of the terminals that connect to it

cause i replaced my solenoid and in the mean time i broke the fuel pump Terminal going to the solenoid

i was wondering why it was cranking but no start, then i realized i couldn't here my fuel pump check out the solenoid and found my problem. and let the car sit for while when it is being charged , don't just start it up right away let that battery juice up a bit for about 5 to ten minutes then give it a shot

well if your terminals are good and after you charge it for awhile if it doesnt start then im stumped because the problem your having is exactly like the one your dealing with , it would click at first when i first installed it it would click, then after i charged the battery for about ten minutes it stopped clicking, but that is when i found out i had broke a terminal , fixed the terminal and it started right up
