Help! I need a tranny

Ok the diff in my SHO blew about a month ago....it also left a nice hole the size of a fist in the tranny case. I was thinking about selling the sho...but I would also like to fix my baby.

I really need some help. I cant find a tranny anywhere! Is there a reliable person or buz that I can just order a mtx tranny from?

why is it so hard to find a tranny? Or am I just not looking in the right places?

Your gonna need to look in a junk yard for a donor tranny and you can rebuild it. Be prepared to pay at least 400 dollars. Car-part.com is a good place to start if you cant find it at local junkyards. Luckily, i got mine from a VERY good friend for 250 in almost new condition. boink

Yep, www.car-part.com list 2 in Virginia. You have to click on "cable shift" but it doesn't matter since any MTX from 89-95 will work.
