HELP, got a couple problems

ok guys, today i finally put my car together from August, i put an alternator, and the intake assembly back on, having a confusing problem,
1-check engine light keeps coming off and on speraticly.
i have never had the light on please any ideas, thanks a lot Dan

Well pull the codes and see what it says. I suspect that it will come up as a MAF sensor. Just check to make sure all the connections are plugged in securely.

well, fixed the problem, i was having a charging system problem, had just replaced the alternator today and turns out the battery was shot too, put a new battery in and havent seen the check engine light sence, but thatns anyway, Dan.......by the way, feels awsome to drive her again, its been 3 months, thanks again, Dan
