HELP!!car cuts out then dies

while driving my 94 atx it just starts to cut out really bad and then it died was able to start it back up but not sure why. Could the plugs be that bad to make it cut out like that, or any other suggestions about what it could be. I just bought it tonight cause the tranny went out in my 93

check your mass air flow sensers mabey clean your conneters

Likely a fuel pump or a CPS.

Need to do a lot more diagnostics and no guessing.

ya i remember someone telling me about the maf. See one good thing is i have a 93 that runs great except the transmission is shot. So any parts i might need can be pulled of there to save some money. My boyfriend just ordered a really fancy diagnostic tester that should be here monday so we can find out exhactly whats up. thanks for the input this is my second sho i really like the cars alot and hope i can get this one in great running condition
