help, annoying feedback

ok i have 2 aftermarket amps, one for subs and one for normal speakers, the other day i moved them to a different spot in the trunk and left all of the wiring the same except i moved the ground and switched the rca cables. i turn on the system and i get a really loud feedback that increases with the gas pedal (sounds like a police siren) so i thought it must be the ground that i moved right? so i moved it back to where i had it and it still made the noise.......any ideas on what the **** this is from? help me if you can, tx

Do you have your RCAs on the same side as you power wire. What kind of RCAs do you have.(cheap ones) If not try to put the ground some place better if you can.

i got big ol' expensive rca's, and i tried the ground in like 3 diff spots, all with bare metal, still does it.......remote turn on wire???

It could be the Remote...check where the RCA's get routed behind the head unit. On my car i have power wires that ran to an Audiocontrol Overdrive (Line Driver). Well the thing doesn't draw much current, but it was enough to introduce whine in the RCA's (yes i have good ones also). I moved the location of the Overdrive and payed close attention to the RCA's when i put the radio back in and voila!, the sound disappeared. Even with low current voltage signals, you are in for noise if they get too close.
