heater core question

Hey guys i I had something stranged happen to me on my way to work this morning. I had my climit control set at 80 cause its unlike your nice weather down south it gets right around frezzing temps in the early mornings. Anyways all of a sudden steam came flowing throw my vents with a alight hint of antifrezz smell. I've never experinced this befor but I'm gussing I have a leek in my heater core. just want to make sure I'm on the right track befor i go digging under my dash.

Ah yup, sounds like the heater core bit the dust. I'm sure I have a spare one in the back room so don't buy one just yet.

Uh, yea, and since the heater core is the first thing that comes down the assembly line and the car is built around it, I would say you have a heck of a job in store.
