Well my car's has been acting kinda funny lately, it will like to die out on me some say fuel pump others say alternator i'm getting checked soon. but last night it was a bit chilli so i turn the heat on i instantly lose allllll power and it dies on me WTF? is going through my head, so i turn it off and it starts right back up i turn the a/c on to see if it does that same...NOPE it ran fine but the problem is i'm ***** cold *** want some heat so i suffer for the hole FIVE miles away i am..lol..get to where i'm going put car in neutral and turn heat on i lose power again...hmmmmmm i have no idea what is going on. someone please relpy quickly winter is fasttly approaching.!!!

Need some more info. It dies if you simply select heat? Does the fan run ok in other modes? Will the fan run on hi in other modes? What happens if you select auto and set the temp way up?

Possibly a vacuum leak in one of the heater damper actuators. From that less-than-English descritpion, you don't give us much to go on. Try communicating more clearly and maybe you will find more people willing to help. What's "disre need?" Do you mean "dire" as in "urgent?" I'm surprised I answered this post.

Seems like I had an ****** GT that did that.Turns out it was the ground strap to the motor.Any additional load put on the electrical system would make it die.Hope this helps.Hey sdpatt.You were right about the valve cover bolts.Nobody has them but FORD at $23 each eek! thanks for the help thumb
