When i run my heat through the vents it works perfectly. If i try to use it on the floor or defrost settings than the car will stall/drop idle if i come to a stop. I had before thought it may be the heater core, but i do not get a "sweet" smell when i run the heat and the window does not fog up from the defrost. I also know that when i run the AC the car will stall/drop idle and water leaks into the passenger side (i was told the AC drain is probably clogged and that causes the leak but i have not yet gotten under the car with a coat hanger and it is getting COLD so AC isn't needed anyways) I will probably try to unclog the AC drain today because i have a heated bay at my work and i will be installing my brand new SS catless Y anyways.

Something is probably up with your a/c compressor causing it to drag on the motor when you engage those EATC functions. Check that first. When you select floor and defrost, they engage the a/c compressor to give you drier air.

Sounds like you need to perform the ol' idle reset procedure. Search and ye shall find.
