Yeah , it gets me right in the heart, that I am gonna need to replace my heater core. Mann I'm dreading the process. In the interim I pickup up a hose from AutoZone that some would say is a direct fit for bypassing the core. So I guess I'll be waiting till I need heat.

I know there are instructions on this but OUCH!:mad:

It is not that bad to replace. Do a search to find the 3 hour method of removal. If it is absolute that the core is gone summer is a much better time to do it than winter here in PA.

I replaced mine. It wasnt all that bad. I actually thought it was pretty easy, just a lot of screws and time, but you'll get it! I bypassed mine ffor a whole summer until November up in Michigan! Couldnt take the cold anymore! lol. Then I moved to Florida and have no AC! but I have heat :rofl:
