I bought a new 2010 when they first came out and put 120,000 on it before I traded for this new in the showroom 2013 that now has 165,000 miles (flawless) so my question to those in the know is how far will it go?
I do all my upkeep with Valvoline full synthetic every 5k and yes I'm a mechanic just not on these cars so I'm curious to the point of finding out myself just how far it will go. To give more insight I Interstate drive this car around 200 miles each day for work and she's bone stock, never been track driven although that's where I"ve spent most of my day jobs. The hardest she gets pushed is passing the left lane riders in the right lane every evening coming home.

When I was at the Lincoln store, we saw a fair number of turbo issues around 150k or so, but if caught before something exploded the motors were running strong long after that.

I've got nearly 160k on my 2013 and so far so good. Even if something goes south I'm just gonna fix it or upgrade because this boat is awesome quick, a joy to drive, looks good and comfortable.

That's my concern, if it didn't mandate dropping the subframe I would have already swapped them out.
Thank You

I think at least one member has done it without dropping the subframe, but it did require getting additional components out of the way.

And while you are doing that, I would also do water pump and likely timing chain.

Was a cutting torch involved :) ?
We race with the Ganassi Fords using the Ecoboost and I'm friends with a few guys in the Yates engine group.
Maybe I'll see if they have any laying around, I know they switched manufacture a couple of years ago. I could hear a different sound from them in the garages so I asked and they confirmed.

I think they removed the axle and torque mount, then pulled the engine forward some to gain clearance. Still tight.
