Head unit delay

Although it seems to have fixed itself now, the last couple starts I did resulted in a 1-2 second delay before the head unit came on. Is this some sort of developing electrical failure?

Very hard to diagnose. I know that my head unit has like a 2 second delay to allow the amp to power up first. I'm not sure what head unit or amp you have...but you may want to look at the amp first. Not very conclusive I know...but it's a place to start.
