Hard Starting

I have to turn the engine over three times before it will start. It starts on the third cranks everytime. Is this the crankshaft position sensor or camshaft sensor ?

Agreed...

Sounds more like the fuel system isn't holding presure with the intial key on. Next time you go to start it, turn the key on, off, on, off, on and start.

The fuel pump has a check valve in it, usually when the valve goes bad, these are the symptoms.

Mine does the same thing most of the time. Ocasionally it starts right up first try. Most of the time its immediatly on the second try. I could go out and jump in the car and crank it for 10 seconds and it wouldnt start, let off and turn the key again for half a second and it starts right up. Or I could jump in and crank it for 2 seconds, let off and crank again and it will start right up.
