I have never heard of anyone actually finding them on this forum, and I have been unsucessful in locating them myself. Best bet is to use pre-made lines from the store and get adaptors to mate them to the car. The lines have strange flairs that most parts stores/mechanics/brake shops don't have the proper flair tool or pre- made lines.

I did all of mine, and it wasn't as bad as you might think. THere were 2 types of flares on the system. I believe on of the 2 on the master cylnder were different, I dont remember its been a while. But all the others are 'double bubble' flares. The lines are cheap, like 4-10 bux a peice. The long 2 are a little more. But I think I got mine all done for under $100. Not counting the tools I borrowed. :) Otherwise it woulda been $400 or so.. :)

Have fun bleeding your ABS too.. lol I gotta get another sensor before I'm sure mine is bled out. But its not that big of a deal. really just seems like a lot.

this might sound bad but i dont have much patience for tedious work like bending lines. if i pulled the lines off and took them to a shop, could i ask them to just make a copy? anyone ever done this?

Its really not too bad, just depends on how close you want to do it, so it looks stock as possible. I personally just unscrewed one line at a time, then made that one. Makes it easy, bend one bend, stick it next to the old one, and bend that next 90 or whatever. After its all said and done, you can still move em around a bit. I didn't use any of the mounts that were provided, but I did run mine in the same area, and tried to keep a slant on all of them so I wouldnt have any spots where water would pool. Also try to keep them off the body unless you use some sort of rubber mount. My lines on my truck failed where they passed thru the frame, and my lines in my car rotted off where that block was at.

But... never mind anyway, because you live in florida... geez.. go to a junkyard with a 10 mm wrench. Maybe a propane torch for a little heat, but you should be able to pull the whole assembly off a car around there. I want to say all taurus 92-95 with ABS should have the same setup but I could be wrong. There is a thread on here with a picture of the whole thing. I'll put one up when I get home if you haven't seen it by then.

you can buy the center section of brake lines from a ford dealer. makes it a lot easier. i think it is about $70 IIRC.

I tried this and none of the shops had the right flare tools/dies. I went to ford for pre-made lines and they said discontinued. Just my experience.

I've been trying to think of the name of the company that bent my stainless lines for the fairlane.

I got computer bent stainless lines (ALL OF THEM) for my 67' Fairlane for under $150. The company was on the east side of detroit and I was able to pick them up same day. I was truely impressed...I should have etched the name of the company in my memory....I'll do some checking...

Edit: not the company i was thinking of but heres one... http://www.classictube.com/prodview.asp?idno=1918&searchtype=&partno=FD1039

Edit Edit Found it... give these guys a call and let us know. Edit Edit Edit....NVRMND... I just called em.
