I'm looking to do some upgrades to my 2012 SHO, I want to put in hard pipes instead of the stock rubber ones. I've seen some set ups that delete the electronic BOV but I want to know what has to be done to do this modification so it doesn't throw engine codes. I see some have a large BOV on the pipe after the intercooler. Any insight as to how hard this would be or how to do it would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure it's worth my time before I spend the money.

Honestly, unless you are upgrading your turbos now (or in the very near future) hot pipes are not needed.

My suggestion, take the money needed for the hot pipes (coating/bov selection of choice/etc) and put it where it would be much more beneficial.

An Alky-Meth kit, trumps the hotpipe selection 100 fold.

And FYI. The rear bov stays plugged into the harness. Just gets ziptied out of the way.
