First of all, thanks to all those who gave me good info on my last post.

My next question-
Has anyone done a handbrake conversion? is ther eone that would fit with minimal cutting and modification? A friend of mine is parting out his 88 daytona and an 89 mustang lx 4cyl and the consoles are both gray (the mustang is exactly the same color gray as mine) and look wide enough to fit nicely in the space i have.
What, other than cutting up a console, mounting the handbrake, and re routing the cable, would i have to do to make this conversion? Is it worth my time? (I figure, 3 hours tops)

Thanks,
Steve

a handbrake conversion would be impractical on our cars, due to the current ebrake cable design. You would need to locate different ebrake cables, and design brackets for them to attatch to. It'd be alot of extra work for something you'd get tired of after awhile.
