ok, i posted this on the other part also, but didn't get any info.

will a half shaft from a 90 with abs fit my non-abs 89 if the abs rings is taken off?

The ABS ring is on the outer CV joint. The half shafts should be the same, I would think any possible interference would be between the spindle and the ABS ring.
