Well weird things happen when you lower your car as much as mine. (3.5 inches in front compared to my '95) guess where this piece came from, and how. :nut:

the skid plate on the subframe???

yeah i wonder how that thing "fell" off..... :doh:
but atleast the subframe is still there.....

it is still there right.... :laugh_ti:

anyways, yeah of course that's the skidplate.. and yeah the subframe is still in there. It happened on a road that was being repaved, or, an intersection :nut: I was behind some cars and when I saw the dip I started slowing down, then I see this giant manhole sticking up atleast 4 inches but it was too late..

It didn't break it completely off though, just ripped off one side. I had to get my grinder out this morning to cut off the other bolt since the head was so worn down :nut:

anyways.. I'll be getting another skid plate soon if I can find a nice one.. and I'll paint it or something so I know when it gets scratched.. ;)

also, the jolt from hitting it pulled the ignition wire out of the relay on the starter so it wouldn't crank.. I had to call for someone to bring my jack and some tools.. roadside fuurrryyy, drove home fine though.

You know Im kidding... Matt if you want, I can look at my local yards for one :)

The cars out here are usually in GREAT condition!
