Did you hear any turbo whistle?
Yea, there is a bit of turbo whistle/whine on accel. Strangly though, no real sound from a blow off (I think it's called) between shifts. Maybe because the shifts are lightning fast!?!
I'm not saying you're making this up, but as far as a 6 speed manual and a sho having some insane amounts of power in the near future... I'll believe it when i see it.
No, we wern't talking cfm! He did say pounds of boost. As a matter of fact I didn't ask about psi he volenteerned the info. However, I did mistate the factory boost level. It will be set at 12psi (6psi per turbo/bank) not 11psi as I stated above.

It could be posible that they are keeping it a secret like they did with bringing the sho back in the first place? Or maybe they will wait to see what sales are like first?
Keep in mind the original Manual Tranny was pretty poor. Nobody in America was going to buy that with an Auto version available other than the purists. But why does BMW still bring over manual versions of most of their cars? The homologation costs must be horrendous for such a small slice of the market....

if they were going to crush the car anyway why not ramp up the power to see what breaks so they can use it for research.

I wish Hennessey would release whatever numbers they are trying to make.
Your not going to have to sign a Release to drive / Ride in any pre-production vehicle. I certainly didnt when I logged probably 800 Miles in new Taurus/SHO's. It was funny driving these cars knowing that they all were going to be Crushed.

According to my colleague who works for Daimler, BMW's and other makes built in Germany are also built with higher quality and are less problematic than the ones built elsewhere, as in the US built models.
I run 27 in my Audi S4, and I can not see a stock exhaust allowing that much flow. I know in the past I have had some supercharged cars that would boost stack, anyone know if that can happen in a turbo car too.
