don't have a pic, but if you still have all the stock parts, there is a large stud nut on the rear(right) passenger(front) upper intake, where that intake support bracket attaches. The ground wire runs from the firewall to that stud. IMO there is a much better location to attach it-run the wire under the intake where the crosstube attaches & attach wire to the bolt on the rear brkt that holds the cross tube to the rear tank. A much better ground path for the DIS!

the factory wire is a braided wire w/ insulation. my guess is it is at least as heavy as a 12ga wire. it runs to the firewall just outside of the location where the hood strut attaches - there is a threaded hole there where 2 or 3 grounds attach.

See if you can find a used one. A good regular wire will work, but strong braided wires can take alot more movement and stress under the hood.

mine's not even hooked to the intake. i've got it bolted down to the head where the intake support bracket bolts on.
