Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the company grille technologies out of florida. They make custom made billet grilles for our cars. It seems that a lot of people are unaware of this company. Maybe some of you guys do know about it. I've just never read any threads about it. Anyways I've purchased there 4 piece billet grille kit for my 11' SHO and love it. I've personally dealed with Ryan the owner of the company and he was awesome to deal with.

Good quality stuff

When was the last time you contacted them? I purchased the billet upper and lower about a month ago and they had no problem taking my money (one of the most expensive grills made for our vehicle), delivery time was decent and quality looks good but it came with oddly incomplete instructions for the upper and nothing for the lower. I've sent emails twice and left polite phone messages no less than three times with no response, nadda. I'm waiting for a warmer day after Christmas to do the install before I make my final decision. Right now I'd give it an A for appearance, B-C for their mounting system from what I see, and a F for customer service and instructions. If Jason hadn't posted pics of his for me I really didn't understand the upper grill mounting. At this point it still seems odd to me and that it might take a lot of rigidity out of the front bumper cover when compared to the factory grills with all the tabs. 4 small studs on the lower, and the upper looks to have 2 small studs on the bottom to the bumper cover and two brackets that attach the top of the grill to the upper core support with nothing holding it to the bumper cover at the sides or top? I won't know until I install them but it just seems weak in the mounting department and lacking attachment points to the bumper cover.

I don't want to seem too negative or crap on your post, it looks really nice on the cars I've seen posted which is why I purchased it. They did deliver and construction looks good but the lack of any response has me a little bent. If you have a copy of your mounting instructions with the pictures that were supposed to be included please post them. How do you feel about support or the way the bumper cover feels around the grill. As a car Tech that's my only concern since the cover's a soft flexible material.

Edit-I'll try to give them a call on Monday and see if I can reach them. The original calls were around Thanksgiving, maybe something weird happened but they still had contact info/messages they should have received.

Hmm.. that's weird about all your no responses from Ryan. " the owner of grilletech " he has responded to all my emails prior and after I purchased my 4 piece grille kit from him. As for the instructions yea they weren't the best and took some constructive rigging. But oh well. And yea as for the sturdiness I kind of agree with u somewhat. It definitely isn't as sturdy as the stock grill. But I do think it's sturdy enough. I was a auto
mechanic for 8 yrs and am now a service writer.

Thanks for the post! I've been looking mostly on eBay - nice to have an actual dealer to buy from with website, pics, etc. So, looks like the majority of people here went for the complete "replacement," grille. Did you consider doing just the "insert." The "insert," one appears to keep the chrome surround in place - which for me is fine because my car is silver to begin with. I can see Jason going with the full replacement bc that chrome would stand out on his black. Are there any other reasons for not going with the "insert," over the "replacement?" Thanks!
