Hey I’m back with a question that I would like answered in advanced. What’s a good performance daily tire? It’s an 89 with little modification. Pretty much I want a good tire for the summer months. And anyone know a good winter tire?

Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S was my favorite tire, quiet, firm, unaffected by rain. A couple tires ago; think they've changed the lineup and that was my decision for just getting noisy Costco Michelins now.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta is just ridiculously awesome if you need a snow tire, studded if you anticipate icy snow. Drive right by 4x4s spinning out on hills.

My plan is to buy a set of basket weave gen 1 wheels for the snow keep the summer tires on the 2nd gen rims. I’ll look into these tires if anyone else has suggestions please do tell.

what are you looking for in a winter tire? Nokians are great but I would get something sold locally in case something happens like a pothole destroys a tire. Blizzaks are good, there is a good Cooper winter tire I would even consider the Firestone https://www.1010tires.com/Tires/215-65R15/Winter for the price.

You need to find the tire size you need first--and then find a good winter tire in the right size
