As it relates to running 93 octane in a suggested 94 octane tune, how does one determine good (better quality) gas versus bad gas, amongst your local gas stations?

Does one company in general have higher quality 93 octane than another across North America? Or more specifically, in my region, New England?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure this really means that the gas is better "quality" but check out the website www.toptiergas.com I use only top tier fuel. I've been running a 93 tune for over 20,000 miles without even a hiccup...thats in hot and cold weather. Summer and winter

One of the issues with any station is pumps that have one hose but several grades of fuel. It is a given that the previous purchaser likely used the cheapest grade, which means there is some of that octane in the hose. Unfortunately in Iowa, very few stations offer 93 or 92 so I don't have any choice but to go where it is, regardless of top tier, or number of hoses.
