I have a vid or 2 of me kickin nik's a$$. Video is deceptive as I saw him beat me to the finish line even though my time was faster.

Z06Vette

Well, maybe in the slightly modified class. But when I beat that Z-06 on my second run with a 12.729 TOW was smiling. Now I just need to get that bottle warmer on so I can run some juice again. I think I can get into the low 12's maybe even 11's if I get some slicks.

I don't know what he paid for it since I didn't talk to him. It looked new and had a Z-06 badge on the left fender that was facing me, the car was a beautiful shade of blue. I waited for him to come up and pick up his time slip but he dissappeared and I was in a hurry to go do another run.

I'm not so sure I would label it an ass kickin'. More of a love-tap .

Not to shabby considering mods between the cars. -F-22 Raptor -BBBs, 80mm MAF, Chip, Catless Y, Cat back?? Weight reduction(Mike probably did'nt eat anything all day to give himself that extra edge:laugh_ti: ).

-Dooleyville StageII -SS CAI, 75mm MAF, stock style catless Y, FM 40s, 24lbs of crap in the trunk and all my seats.

Z06 Vettes

I don't know much about the new Z06 version that came out last year, but my understanding is that the newest Z06 model (2007 and maybe the 2006) are all the $70k plus 427 cubic inch models rated at 505 hp. The previous Z06 Vettes had the 405 hp engines at about 6.0 litres. Someone here correct me if I am wrong on this because my Vette knowledge is pretty limited. There is a new blue $70k Vette here in little old Willcox that has been tearing up the streets. The owner is a fairly young woman that is pretty out of control with the car from what I witnessed one day. Nice looking car and one that I would love to have if I had that kind of money to spend on a car, but I am not going into debit or selling a bunch of stuff to get one. Glad to hear everyone is having fun at these races. I might want to watch someday.

You guys all talking times got me looking at mine. My fastest time in my sho is 15.216 at 93.459 with a 2.480 60'. Only power adder on that thing was an SS CAI minus the hacked exhaust. I had a front seat too Mike.

Nick that's a very impressive trap speed.

I don't know which Z06 Tom raced. If you've never seen any videos of the brand new C6 Z06's racing, I'd highly reccomend it! www.streetfire.net probably has some. Those things are beasts!

The Vette Tom raced was a C5 Z06, not a C6. Still, not a shabby accomplishment at all!
