My 92sho has some strange things happening in the trunk. For the past few years as the weather starts to heat up, my trunk will pop open by itself. At first thought someone was messing with me, but after several years everyday, this is not the case. My first thought was keypad shorting out, unhooked battery for days still happens everyday. I can close it hard and try to open by pulling up wont open. Any ideas.

Yes it is your cable running from the manual release by the drivers seat into the trunk. When the interior temp rises, the cable can contract and pop the trunk. My 91 would do that (ironically at around 91 degrees) and I replaced the cable and the problem was solved.
