Since my internet hasnt been on for like 2 weeks I couldnt change my fluid. My question is, the spot for where you add the ATF fluid and suck it out is the same spot which would be the fill plug? So in other words where I take the old fluid out is where I put the new fluid in?

Thanks Brad

And it seems to me the only way to get at it is underneath the car. Is there any possible way that I can get to it from up top. Im letting it soak in PB Blaster right now. There is no way that I can get a breaker bar in there.

What do you need a breaker bar for? I just use a regular ratchet..

It's a round plug with a recessed square on it. Make sure you don't round out the square! :)

Somethin' ain't right.

You removed the plug and the fluid came out by itself? Or did you pump it out?

The fill plug is halfway (or so) up the side of the transmission case, so the normal procedure is to fill it to the level of the plug hole; i.e., when the fluid level reaches the hole, the tranny has the proper amount of fluid in it.

So when you take the plug out, ideally, no fluid should come out, even when filled to the proper level.

Well I think everything is a ok now. What I meant was I had it all pumped out, I just have to put the new fluid in. But when I put it in alot came out, so my guess is that I just put to much in. Is it ok if I over flow it if i even did that, What I did was I had a little oil squirt gun. I filled it up with the ATF fluid. THen I shot some into the fill plug. I keep squirting some in till it started to come back out then I quickly put the fill plug back in. I took it for a ride and everything seems fine. Im gonna take it for a longer drive tonight to make sure everything is ok.

Thanks guys.
