gen3 V8 mufflers on my 89 1st gen???

ive always had a special place in my heart for the 3rd gens to spite the cam problem but i think the exhaust tips would look great on my 89 anyone ever done it??? with whole mufflers or just tips??? anyone got a set they wanna get rid of????

You could do it either way, just the tips or the whole mufflers, they'll fit just fine (you might need to get slightly longer insulators in the back so the tips clear the rear bumper cover). Should prety juch just some welding to get them on. Try posting a WTB in the Want to Buy forum.

Yeah, there's a guy here with the username machspeed, who had a similar tip on his black gen 1. They looked pretty cool.
