I understand I can use Gen III subframe bushings in my 95 ATX and that I will need to make a small modification to the subframe. How difficult is this mod? How long will it take to make this mod, over and above the time it would take me to replace the bushings with Gen II bushings?

What about police bushings? Pros and cons vis-a-vis the Gen III bushings.

I'm not interested in Aluminum bushings, but are there any other options for bushings?

The G3 bushings have a tab on them, so you'll need to either cut the tab off, or notch the sub-frame to make them fit. It's not too hard, and is short work with a dremel tool.

The police bushings will also need mods to the frame done as well, since you'll need to drill holes for the 4 posts to go up into.

For a direct fit, the only options are stock, or the aluminum ones.

I had the G3 Rear bushings on my 89 - nice little mod, fairly cheap too (less than what a set of aluminums runs).

On my 95 ATX there were already notches in the subframe effectively negating any modification to the Gen III bushings. Plug and play upgrade, atleast for my 95.
