Gen III SFB?

When upgrading to the gen III subframe bushings do you have to use the washers from the recall kit? The new bushings have metal plates so I,m not sure if they need to be used or not. Just asking cause I can get new bolts a lot cheaper then the whole kits. The recall was already done on my car. Thanks.

just new bolts... IIRC, they are $3-$5 from ford.

I found it easier to just dremel the tabs on the GenIII bushings, instead of notching the subframe.
