Gen III exaust tips on a Gen I, opinions?

Went to the exaust shop today. Its gonna be getting straitend and adjusted, i saw the guy had some gen 3 muffs. He said he could apapt the tips for me. But theyre curved, like the back of the gen 3 sho. Opinions?

I think they would look great. I have some on my `91 that are similar to the Gen 3 style, but not the same. I actually tried to get the gen 3 tips too.

Personally, I don't think it would look right, as the contour of the rear bumper is almost straight across. I wouldn't bother with the GenIII tips.

All kidding aside, if anyone has a pic of a gen1 car with cool tips, lets share them. I'm not sure about the oval tips for the same reason as Jay, but let's see 'em if ya got 'em everyone.

Personally, I don't like any kind of tips on the Gen Is. The rear bumper cover just isn't made for 'em. The best look is no tips, or turndowns just barely visible. :cool:

what about a gen 2 bumper, and this look (SHOck's car) StraightPipes on a gen 1? anyone have skills with photoshop (or other) able to put that onto a Gen 1 body? (full view)
