Whats the easiest way? Before you tell me to search or go out and look. I've been on my ass with the flu the past couple of days, and I just want to go out with the right tools to get it over with. Thanks!

Well, there's a headlight aiming kit, that might just be a Ford thing, or possibly available at a parts store. I just bought an adjustment tool (very small socket on a short handle) but it will only adjust the horizontal. I think that to do the vertical, you need a longer tool....to get at the hex-nut thing on the underside of the light. I've spent a lot of time staring at that thing, trying to figure out what makes this so difficult, but I haven't found anything yet. I'm seriously considering taking it to Ford.
(did I just say that?)
Good luck!

Yes, I've been trying to figure that one out too as the lights are too low and very easily
'over-run' on the highway at night.

The best and only way is to replace the upper fixed head lamp attachment assembly with an adjustable one from the Fords parts department. That way you have two adjustable points and one fixed point. It doesn't help with the **** poor light pattern but at least you can fully adjust the location of the pattern vertcially and horizontially.

A 4mm deep socket will fit the adjustment bolts just right. Make sure the retaining clips are locked onto the black plastic parts so their not just spinnin' in circles when you adjust the bolts. I'm gonna adjust mine tomarrow night. :-D

Head Lamp Alignment

Installed a new pair of PIAA bulbs (Xtreme Cool Blue White Plus HB 5 12v 65/55w 120/110w). Can someone send me a copy of the alignment instructions detailing the vertical and horizontal specifications from the Shop manual ?
