Hello,

I am looking for some information regarding the entire 3.5 Ecoboost platform. I've owned an SHO, MKS, and FLEX over the past 10 years all of which had the 3.5 Ecoboost. I found, through ownership, there wasn't much difference between these 3 and everything for the most part was cross functional with the exception of a couple mounting points. My question is regarding the 18 and 19 Explorer Sport and how close everything matches the other 3. Will my ATP turbos fit? Will my downpipes fit? ETC... When searching the internet, information seems to be conflicting and it doesnt seem like many shoot for a 400+ AWHP Explorer. I know this isn't exactly SHO related but I figured I might have some luck finding someone who's had both.

Well I read @Ecoboost_xsport www.fortheworkshop.com as well as www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com and see what else you find. I was just messing around with Forscan and the different modules and systems. The AS BUILT info for the Explorer is better than the Taurus. Many more options for parts and performance upgrades for the Explorer.

There are many similarities around the engine parts like the Flex and MKS.

I have a 2015 Explorer Sport and a 2017 Police Interceptor sedan (SHO). The turbos and downpipes are the same. The engine, trans, PTU, and diff are the same. The differences I see are in the suspension and cooling stack (radiator, intercooler, etc.).
