Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has a link or any pictures of a Gen 2 with Gen 3 chrome wheels.

Thanks,
Rem

Do a search for SHOFEAR94. He has a blue 94 with chrome gen 3 wheels. It looks really good on the blue car. There is another member with a white 94/95 with the same wheels, I can't remember his name off the top of my head now, its DJ something I think.

Copy and paste the Geocities link and it works. Or grab it and drag it to the address bar, either works. Looks good Drew... gonna be sweet with that 3.2 wink

I was just wondering what everyone has against the Slicers? They are my favorite and I'm TRYING to find four new ones that are in good condition so I can have my summer and my winter Slicers. Why does all everyone take them of and replace them? I just don't get it.

Persoanlly, after having slicers on my '90, and then having them on my '93 for 6 years, I was just tired of seeing them. Besides, almost every Gen2 SHO has them.

I was just ready for something different, and cheap, and went with the Gen3 SHO rims.

Marbs,

My new rims are on the way. My slicers off of my 93 are in perfect condition. Are you interested? I'm in Salt Lake; where are you from? Let me know if you want to work something out. You could save a lot of money in shipping costs that you wouldn't have to pay. BTW, I don't have anything against the slicers, I just wanted a change.
E-mail me if you like. [email protected]

Just because someone is getting new rims doesn't mean they don't like the slicers. I think the slicers look a **** of a lot better than the gen 3 rims. Getting new rims is a way of drastically changing the way your SHO looks and differentiate it from other SHO's. What else could you do to our cars cosmetically to change them?... not too much except for rims, body lettering and tint and a few others. boink

Here's my old ATX with the GEN III Wheels. They're now on my 94 Green MTX, just don't have a good pic of it yet.

john l:
does anybody know how much the gen3 rims weigh?
When I weighed mine they came to 18lbs. A bit lighter then the slicers. Then again your scale may vary wink

I just put my Gen III rims on my gen I and they look sweet. I do like slicers, but i prefer my chromes or my 17's.

Actually, my slicers look pretty nice on my gen III

The '96-'98 wheels are typically 18 pounds each, while the '99 wheels (which are also found on some Sables and were options on the Taurus) are only 16.5 pounds each.
